After returning home from the Lead Flotilla Skipper contract I was contacted for some private charters out of Croatia. A fellow skipper had an accident back home and was unable to fulfill the contract. So through my network came a call and after some online meetings with the skipper I was on a plane headed to another beautiful location.
Private charters suit me more than flotillas as I can focus more on the guests aboard and give them an amazing experience. I quickly got to know the area and interesting locations to visit. Yachts were beautifully maintained with only minor things breaking during the trips.
During these trips I was chatting with one of the guests whose name also was Dennis and we brainstormed about how sailing with Dennis is amazing. So thats how those concepts were born. The dutch version: ZeilenmetDennis.nl was just launched. The international version still has to be built.
